Pastor playing lottery

I was looking at what was hot on the front page of wordpress today and noticed a post on entertainment in which a pastor got a lottery ticket and won 4 dollars, then posted it on his blog for his church members to see. Here is the site if you want to see.

Now I got to thinking a little bit, and thought why would a guy like this who is supposed to be an example to his flock put something up like this? Isn’t the love of money the root of evil? Well I am not saying the man loves money. But because there are people that have gambling problems, and maybe very well some of the people that go to his church, wouldn’t it make sense that he would be wise to abstain from doing something like this in order not to stumble someone?

I guess this just goes to show what this world has come to. Instead of being an example and maybe even not putting that up on a blog which is supposed to be about God, he is talking about gambling. But then again I just remembered that a lot of churches use gambling as a way to bring in revenue with bingo. They have to try to make it fun and playful at church because the lack of respect and love for wanting to be there is gone from people now.

A company called joel enterprises inc is just one that Michael Vick owes money too. I think its funny how a guy who thought he was so great isn’t so great right now. Who’s is going to want him when he actually does get out of jail? There are more companies besides joel enterprises inc that want money from Vic which has lead him to have to make some serious changes in finances. So much so that he has had to file for bankruptcy protection.

This should be a lesson to people like A rod and others who don’t give a crap and think they can do anything. All you do is look foolish and stupid. Live a good life and at least try to be an example to others who are watching you. You want to be a pro sports player, then expect to be a spectacle.

candice houlihan

Wow! All I can say is this Alex Rodriguez thing has been huge in the news for a while. How long will it last? Well recently interviewed was a stripper named Candice Houlihan who claims she had sex with the sports star. How do people just cheat on their wives and play around with strippers? People like this have no business getting paid for playing baseball and then playing around with strippers at the end of the day.

Imagine how Alex is hurting his family, and how kids who looked up to him are now seeing him for what he really is. People just seem to have no respect for anything nowadays. Even the people who are supposed to be examples are nothing more than an object for entertainment. I think this candice houlihan probably has no respect for herself either with what she does. What a sad world we live in.
